I’m Taking Ko-Fi Commissions!
Sorry this isn’t strictly a Game Dev post but it’s something I’ve been working on and would like to signal boost!
You might have noticed I’ve been doing a bunch of art stuff on my streams lately - as part of that I’ve also opened up a Ko-Fi shop for art commissions!
Check it out here:
Here are some examples of my illustration work, in case you’ve not seen much of it before:
The hope is this will potentially help me keep some lights on and help me pay my bills while I continue the many different gamedev things I’ve been working on lately. Plus it’ll be fun to get back in the swing of drawing things for people again! ✌️
I’d encourage you to check the link out, maybe share it around to folks who might be interested, and consider nabbing one if you’d like me to draw you something! I’ve got a ToS listed on the Ko-Fi and I’m open to both NSFW + SFW comms at this time.
Thanks friends!
Been thinking a bit this weekend about how my three favorite original games so far this year have been Pizza Tower, Spark 3 and now Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and how all three of those effectively surpass their inspirations.
meanwhile the three big games I played last year, Saints Row (the new one), Pokemon Scarlet & Sonic Frontiers all suffered from major gaps in quality that soured my mood with all three.
when I factor in the games I’ve enjoyed so far this year from AAA devs, both of those games (Metroid Prime Remastered & Quake 2) were solid remasters of fantastic games I had simply never played before.
I guess the conclusion I’ve got so far from all of this is that I’m really looking forward to seeing more indie stuff release in the coming years and seeing how some of those studios may grow.

‘Sonic Overture’ (2014) by Overture Team (Demo)
A great little demo with a lot of nods to early Sonic concept artwork.
